Take a look at some examples of our recent work

recruitment campaign – further forces

Shot in the workshop at Basingstoke College, this short documentary-style film features the advice of a soldier who took part in the Further Forces programme and became a teacher in further education. For this video, we used Steadicam throughout the shoot, and created a specially-composed music score to keep the feel positive and upbeat.

recruitment campaign – rutland county council

The client wanted a bright, colourful film that promoted the values of the organisation and the benefits of working there. With a range of custom backdrops designed to work in harmony with their recruitment microsite, and a chirpy score driven by a ukelele, the film was rounded off with outtakes from the shoot to convey the fun nature of working there.

product commercial – NORTH42 gin

The client requested a commercial that captured the right vibe for their brand. We needed to carefully compose the music track and record all the sound effects to bring the product to life. Fast typography helped to keep the pace high and we used Steadicam, a slider and a range of prime lenses to get the right cinematic look.

bRAND IDENTITY – equilibrium stamford

The client wanted a film for web and social media use with the same sense of luxury and relaxation a customer would experience at the business. We choreographed many Steadicam and slider shots to get the flowing feel, and composed a music score in keeping with the tranquil atmosphere of the Spa.

AWARENESS CAMPAIGN - DIGITAL Rutland

Rutland County Council wanted a short film to raise awareness of the newly-completed fibre infrastructure across the county. After writing the script, and scouting locations within Rutland, we shot the film with local actors over the course of one day, and added an original orchestral music score.

SPORTS PROFILE – TEDDY WILSON RACING

18-year-old racing driver Teddy, who has been a National Karting Champion and competed in the USA Formula 4 Championship wanted to tell his story to prospective sponsors. We created a short video to show the youngster behind the talent and big dreams.

travel promotion – Natural World Safaris

A short, photography expedition film made in the ice-bound wilderness of East Greenland. Captured from Zodiac boats as well as dry land, our stills photography and film footage were intermingled in this production, which features a specially-composed score designed to reflect the epic nature of the environment.

BUSINESS PROFILE – Uppingham Yarns

A short, documentary-style promo filmed at the client's premises for their website. The shop is a real Alladin's cave, and we made extensive use of our Steadicam to reveal its scope. We also used our slider for many of the shots, and the music score was specially composed on piano and recorder to create the right mood.

PRODUCT PROFILE – Scholl Concepts

With voice-over narration from Jon Adams, we show the benefits and use of specialist finishing products in the bodyshop and car manufacturing industries. Shot on two cameras, with a specially composed soundtrack the client loved!

HOW TO ‘EXPLAINER’ – Elinchrom

A film from a series we produced for one of the top makers of studio lighting kit. The client wanted us to show the versatility of a stripbox - a lighting modifier that’s attached to a flash head and can be used in a variety of different ways. As well as composing the film’s music, we also took all the still images, to show off the creative benefits of the product.

PRODUCT PROFILE – H&Y Filter Frames

Made for the European market with versions in six different languages, the client wanted a piece of visual storytelling that explained the assembly and creative use of a new line of magnetic filter frames. Shot on the Norfolk coast, we used Steadicam for smooth camera movements, and produced an original music score featuring piano, guitar, and a baroque alto recorder!

HOW TO ‘EXPLAINER’ – Hoya Filters

With Andrew James as presenter, we explain the benefits of a special photographic filter that removes nearly all the light from a scene, and reveal how it can be used to take amazing photographs.

HOW TO ‘EXPLAINER’ – Elinchrom

A promotional film from a series made for the premium Swiss lighting manufacturer. The client wanted us to convey how easy the kit is to set up and use, so we scripted, presented and produced the film with this in mind. We also took all the photographs as we were shooting the scenes, to keep the creative process as pure as possible.

HOW TO ‘EXPLAINER’ – HOYA FILTERS

Shot on location in the Lake District, with Jon Adams as presenter, we explain what a polarising filter does, and how it can be used by enthusiasts and professionals to enhance their photographs
